What we do:

FIS enables collectors of handguns, rifles, and other armaments to secure cash in exchange for all or a portion of their collections.

We offer payments to gun owners interested in selling their weapons and ammunition, which can be a great help in difficult economic times.

Whether the need is for quick cash through the sale of individual pieces or a desire to liquidate entire collections, FIS provides gun owners with efficient and trustworthy service that is fully licensed and in accordance with all state and federal regulations governing the sale and transfer of firearms.
2. SELL FIREARMS
FIS is a Federal Firearms Licensee; as such, we are able to provide the following services for those interested in buying firearms:

Sell directly to Pennsylvania residents

Sell to residents of other states via transfer with FFL dealers in those states

Act as FFL transfer dealer for PA residents acquiring weapons from out of state FFL dealers
How we do it:
BUYING YOUR FIREARMS
1. We schedule a confidential appointment that’s convenient for you in your home or in our Ottsville, PA location.
2. During the appointment, we examine the pieces you’re interested in selling.
3. Within 48 hours, we call you with our offer and email you a formal quote of that offer, giving you the option to sell your pieces directly to FIS or placing them on consignment for sale through FIS.
4. If you agree to the offer, we schedule a follow-up appointment in your home to finalize the transaction, usually within 2–3 days – enabling us to assemble the necessary sale and transfer documents.
5. During the follow-up appointment, we:
- review the sale and transfer documents with you,
- pay you for the amount of the sale or allow you to place your pieces for sale on consignment with FIS*
- take possession of the pieces we’ve purchased or transfer those pieces for consignment*
Purchasing our firearms:
1. Visit our Ottsville, PA location during store business hours: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday & Thursday or by appointment (please call 215-896-6950 to schedule an appointment)
2. Call or email us with comments or questions 24 hours a day.
*FIS provides gun owners with the option of selling directly to FIS or selling their weapons on consignment. Consignment sales will result in a higher payment to the firearms owner, but payment is delayed until FIS sells the firearm to a 3rd party, usually within 120 days. Should you choose this option, owners and FIS are protected by federal and state laws governing such sales, which we explain to you during the initial appointment.
